Prepare the information City Sanitation needs
Describe the property address, responsible customer, work dates, and material list. Distinguish household contents, construction debris, dense material, and outdoor cleanup. Ask the City which service fits the project and what loading and placement terms apply. Do not assume a smaller on-call refuse container is equivalent to a construction roll-off, or that one program's accepted items carry into another.
Keep boundary questions separate from supplier selection
If the property may be outside city limits, establish its actual jurisdiction before considering another arrangement. A Jamestown mailing address alone does not settle that question. Outside-city review must separately address provider eligibility, materials, access, and dates; it is not a promised private option or a reason to move waste to a different delivery point.
Questions for the municipal service
Ask the City about rental duration, hauling, disposal or weight terms, deposits, exchanges, and extensions for the proposed project. Use the City's current explanation rather than treating an unrelated private quote as the applicable price.
