Separate unpacking from tear-out
New fixtures can generate a large volume of packaging while old flooring or walls create heavier material. Ask which streams should remain separate and whether the proposed container suits both. Keep lamps, electronics, liquids, and uncertain items outside general debris until acceptance is confirmed. The Alliance's resources can help identify questions without replacing the hauling agreement.
Make reopening a collection milestone
Tell the reviewer when the container must leave and which deliveries occur before then. Reserve the truck's working area, not only the box footprint. If a street or public position is proposed, resolve the actual municipality and responsible office rather than applying Manchester Village assumptions to a Center address. Agree how a delayed contractor affects removal.
Compare the refit sequence and removal deadline
Request rental days, accepted materials, weight terms, hauling, and exchanges. Ask how extra stock deliveries, delayed work, or an earlier pickup affects the written proposal.
