The city publishes landfill schedule notices, but a dated holiday announcement does not establish current hours. Check the facility directly if part of the cleanup will be self-hauled. Ask the rental provider for its accepted-material list independently. Keep appliances, fluids and unusual stored items out until their handling is agreed, and distinguish vegetation from building debris.
Preserve pickup space after the main cleanup day
Place the container where its door and the hauler's working area can remain clear. At a shared recreation property, coordinate with the manager so the position does not interfere with campground or boat movement. At a home, keep donation items and new materials away from the disposal area. Discuss a specific loading limit for dense debris instead of filling spare volume indiscriminately.

Ask for rental days, included weight, accepted materials and collection terms. Explain volunteer timing and any separate self-haul work. Clarify extra days, exchanges and unapproved items before treating a weekend cleanup estimate as the complete project cost.
