Keep the demolition estimate separate from stored belongings
Ask the contractor which components will be removed and identify dense material such as tile, concrete or roofing. Make another list for furniture, screens, appliances and unknown containers found during the clearout. Obtain acceptance advice before mixing those lists. Nearby disposal infrastructure should not be taken as evidence that every material or every customer is eligible for the same destination.
Leave the pickup path open until the box is gone
Choose a loading position that does not block deliveries of replacement materials. Show the provider the approach and overhead clearance, and agree who will move vehicles before an exchange. If work occupies a shared property, notify the responsible manager about access needs. A full container may be ready before all work is finished, so explain whether removal is tied to a particular construction phase.
Johnston material-specific container proposal
Compare duration, hauling, weight conditions and the timing of exchanges. Ask how changes from light cleanout material to heavier demolition are treated, and state which separately managed items are excluded from the proposed container.
