Separate tenant access from contractor access
Identify the entrance trades are expected to use and whether it changes after hours. Explain any stairs, fenced work zone, or customer circulation between that entrance and the proposed toilet position. Discuss handwashing and accessible use with the responsible site representative. Do not assume a tenant has agreed to open its private facilities because they appear nearby on a floor plan.
Fit maintenance into the building's delivery calendar
A shared loading lane may already serve food deliveries, moving vans, or regular refuse collection. Describe those constraints and agree when a service vehicle can reach the equipment. Keep one coordinator responsible for changes across tenants and contractors. If the work expands to another floor or phase, reassess attendance and access before the existing arrangement becomes insufficient.
Compare servicing within the agreed operating hours
Ask which cleaning visits, supplies, handwashing equipment, delivery, and pickup are included. Clarify extra service, after-hours coordination, and changes caused by a longer project or a different entrance.
