Keep the loading route usable
Sketch the path from the work area to the container, including stairs, fences and parked vehicles. A convenient loading position can still fail if the collection truck cannot line up later. Ask about the vehicle's working space and the container door swing. Protect pedestrian access and avoid placing the box where deliveries, household vehicles or emergency access would depend on moving it.
Plan separate decisions for unusual material
Do not add leftover liquids, unidentified containers or suspect building material just to finish a cleanout. Describe those items to the appropriate provider or waste authority before removal. Delaware's household guidance does not automatically apply to a contractor's waste. Public disposal listings are background resources, not confirmation of where this rental load will go. Obtain a clear accepted-material list for the specific booking.
Compare the full Dover removal scope
Request the rental period, included weight, accepted debris, transport, disposal basis and collection conditions in each quote. Ask how excess weight, additional time or a failed collection attempt is treated. Give the same material list and placement details to every provider being compared.
