Reserve the truck's working area until the load leaves
A container can occupy a modest footprint while the truck needs a larger approach for placement and collection. Describe turns, overhead obstacles, nearby doors, and other vehicles using the area. Ask the reviewer to specify working clearance for the offered equipment. If space will be needed for new deliveries, agree an exchange or pickup sequence before accumulating debris in that same area.
Keep recyclable and special items identifiable
Ketchikan's municipal waste page lists separated recycling and household hazardous-waste resources. Use that distinction when identifying cardboard, metal, appliances, oil, batteries, or other special items in the project. The rental's accepted-material list must still be confirmed independently. Keep excluded items out of the container and arrange appropriate handling; public drop-off information is not proof that commercial or mixed loads qualify.
Compare the total collection arrangement
Request the included weight, accepted materials, rental period, delivery, and pickup. Clarify whether an exchange or any transport transfer is included. Ask how restricted collection windows, additional days, or a material change would alter the quote before selecting a container.
