Prevent waste stations from blocking restroom access
CSWD's event and material resources can help organizers think through separate waste streams. Place collection points so bags and volunteer carts do not accumulate on the sanitation service approach. Discuss expected attendance peaks and which permanent facilities will be open. A nearby restroom should not be counted solely because it appears on a venue map.
Keep the delivery route available after setup
Describe barriers, vendor trucks, and the hours when vehicles may enter. Ask how maintenance fits the event's operating plan and who can resolve an access change. If the layout shifts, review the equipment position again before tents or fencing fix it in place. Arrange removal while the organizer still controls access to the venue.
Compare the full venue occupancy window
Request delivery, collection, planned cleaning, handwashing, and extra visits. Include setup and teardown days and clarify the effect of changed hours or a revised venue layout.
