Resolve access before choosing an equipment package
For any island property, tell the prospective supplier exactly where the equipment is needed and ask whether transport, on-site servicing and eventual removal can be arranged. Nothing about a town-wide listing establishes an inter-island delivery option. For road-accessible parks and homes, still describe the final entrance, surface and staging area. At an organized event, vehicle movements may need to be separated from field activity and visitor arrivals.
Avoid treating every public waste site as a dump
Portsmouth publishes separate information for Hedly Street and Prudence Island transfer stations. Tiverton's recycling center is not a trash destination and excludes commercial use. Use those distinctions to sort the project into recyclables, routine household waste and construction or commercial material. Ask the selected hauler about its actual acceptance and destination. For event waste, confirm what the venue provides and who empties public-facing receptacles; a container behind the scenes does not collect litter by itself.
