Build a delivery note the driver can use
The billing address and equipment entrance may be different. Describe the intended entrance, the site contact who can meet the truck and the space that must remain clear. Mention an alley approach, shared loading bay or controlled gate before a delivery window is discussed. Do not send access credentials or personal identification documents through the general rental form; arrange a suitable process directly with the responsible contact if required.
Separate normal waste from material needing review
List what the project will actually remove: furnishings, packaging, timber, roofing or masonry, for example. Unknown liquids, chemicals and regulated debris should not be folded into a general mixed-load description. DPW's special-waste information can help residents find the appropriate public programme, but it does not establish what a commercial rental container may accept. Obtain the hauler's material instructions before loading begins.
Keep the exit plan as clear as the delivery plan
A delivery location can become inaccessible during a project. Note when fencing moves, a lane closes or a neighbouring delivery uses the same space. Plan restroom servicing while people still need the units, and collection after the final waste is loaded. For controlled property, coordinate repeat access rather than treating the first visit as permission for every later service call.
