Match the disposal question to the material
The borough distinguishes regional landfill operations, transfer facilities, and smaller transfer sites. Their roles and acceptance rules are not interchangeable. List the project's household contents, construction debris, appliances, brush, and special materials separately. Ask the rental provider which streams the proposed container accepts and how exclusions should be handled. Do not assume a convenient public collection point accepts contractor waste or a loaded rental container.
Keep workers and loading activity on separate routes
For a project using both toilets and a dumpster, plan the user path independently from the debris-loading and retrieval area. Ask who can authorize the equipment location and whether the approach remains open through all phases. If the site is near water, resolve relevant property and land-use questions with the responsible authority rather than treating an equipment quote as approval.
